First time visiting. Crawfish were small but it’s still super early in the season so we weren’t upset. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was perfectly seasoned and idk what that other dipping sauce is but OMG it’s so good. We will definitely be coming back again!

Ate here for the third time ever today, and the food has been delicious every time. Its so well seasoned and so juicy, and the sauces are also incredible. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, both areas lovely and decorated to the nines. The crawfish were BIG too. Even the boiled eggs were delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend as a Louisiana native

The service and atmosphere are awesome! I've gone to the Sammy Crawfish King in Monroe several times, but I haven't enjoyed it as much as I did this one. My grandson loves crab legs, but doesn't like spice. They gave him some that weren't in the spicy sauce and gave him garlic butter to dip them in. I will definitely be going back to visit!

May 2022 Came for the first time--just seen it late on a Sat. evening drive, but this place has allegedly been opened for 3-4 years. I agree with the other reviews--the sauce is awesome! Dipping anything in that sauce would make it taste like the best thing you ever ate! Now I know where to go for some seafood if I want it because they will custom an order for you if the platters posted are too much for you to handle. I don't think this was a good season for crawfish--they were really small compared to last season. The sausage wasn't the best tasting or quality. The corn didn't seem boiled enough, and the boiled shrimp were very dry. Custom order is the best way to go. I wonder if I can buy a gallon of that sauce. Lol

My first time trying this restaurant out and my god, I’ve had seafood from many different places in Louisiana and this is definitely one of the top notch places! Everything is juicy and perfectly seasoned! Especially their boiled crawfish which is always my favorite

I ordered snow crab and shrimp. When my order came out it was all crawfish. They immediately fixed my order and THEN, I had the best seafood I have ever tried in my life. I’ve traveled so many states and finally I found the flavors I had been looking for. I was in disbelief but also is so much belief of how GOOD this food was. Warm, fresh, and buttery. I ended buying more.

Worth the wait! I've been waiting for a savory seafood place in Alexandria for a while! This place hits the spot. Seasoned very well not salty not too spicy. (High spice tolerance) The line was to the door and I know why. These guys at Sammy's know what they are doing. Professional, kind, and the food was excellent. I had the small crab and crawfish platter it comes with 2lbs crawfish one snow crab cluster potatoes and corn and I added egg. My hubby got the 3 lb. Platter and added snow crab. Total we spent less than $55. Early crawfish season that's extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this place to seafood lovers that like a good kick.
